Casey Tonnelly is new to the writing and performance world and loves it! Casey believes that even serious topics can be discussed in passionate and fun ways. Casey really honed the skill of sarcasm by working with the public and observing behavior and attitudes.
Casey began performing in fall of 2010. They debuted in the 2010 BENT Mentor Showcase. The continued performing in 2011: 10 poets/10 chapbooks, Sanctuary Arts Center-Poetry for a Cause, Seattle Liner Notes, Folklife Festival, Fremont Arts Abbey-Across the River, featured at Seattle SPIT, Allyship LGBTQ and BENT Mentor Showcase. In 2012: Vashon Island Night of Poetry, BOOST: Give Tara’s Platelets a boost and the Encyclopedia Show: LA
Oscar McNary is a Seattle-based poet. He has featured at cafes, basements, and colleges from Boston, Massachusetts to Eugene, Oregon. In 2010 and 2011, Oscar facilitated Seattle’s all-trans writing group, Trans Writes. In January 2012, the arts blog Another Passion featured him. He has written two chapbooks: “Saran Wrap Leisure Suit” and “Eyelid Cinema.” Oscar’s work is forthcoming in Once Upon a Time from Requiem Press and Ghosts in Gaslight, Monsters in Steam: Gay City Anthology 5 from Minor Arcana Press. He is currently co-editing a new collection, In the Biblical Sense: An Anthology of Apocryphal Poetry. He is overjoyed to tour the west coast with good friend and exceptional poet Casey Tonnelly.
