The Sable & Quill writers are a group of writers who are also visual artists and contributors to the Sable and Quill Anthology. They will perform their work at Hot Poetry at the park August 18.
Kimberly White-has published widely. Two poetry chapbooks include: Penelope, and A Reachable Tibet, and a novel, Bandy’s Restola. Her second novel, Hotel Tarantula, is forthcoming. www.purplecouchworks.com
Jennifer O’Neill Pickering-is an award winning visual artist with art featured in many literary journals. She’s published by Harlequin, has poetry incorporated into the sculpture, Open Circle. Her recent book is Mandala Art, Poetry, and Instruction. She’s exhibited at the California History Museum, Crocker Art Museum, S.U.N.Y. Buffalo and elsewhere. Sandy Thomas-is a writer and photographer. Her work has appeared in Medusa’s Kitchen, Ophidian One, Poetry Now, Poetry Now Presents, Primal Urge, Sacramento Press and WTF?!.
Tim McHargue-has published three books of prose poetry, Typography of the Flesh: Thirty Prose Poems; BaliRain Psalm: The Bali Prose Poems; and Wig Bubbles. He has also published freelance articles on art, entertainment, and social issues in numerous publications, is a guitarist, song writer and award winning video artist.
Michael Pickering-has published poetry in Rattlesnake Press, Late Peaches and received an Award of Merit from the Atlanta Review. He is also, a visual artist, singer/song writer, and teacher. He is working on a CD of his music.
